Volume 21, No. 3 of the New Trends in Qualitative Research (NTQR) brings together contributions that reflect the diversity and significance of qualitative research across multiple contexts. The articles explore topics such as interdisciplinary health education and the role of emotional intelligence in higher education, the experiences of university students during quarantine and virtual learning, as well as the perspectives of hospitalised children regarding pain relief during medical procedures. The volume also highlights studies on the collaborative development of a digital nursing intervention for healthy ageing, family health and intergenerational intervention, collaborative practices in the development of writing skills in trainee teachers, and the environmental awareness of primary school children. Other works examine the importance of qualitative research in constructing institutional evaluation models and present a systematic review on the impact of Farmer Producer Companies on farmers’ livelihoods.
This issue also includes the abstracts presented at the Ibero-American Congress on Qualitative Research (CIAIQ2025), reinforcing NTQR’s mission to provide a plural space for debate and dissemination, where qualitative research is affirmed as an essential tool for analysis, reflection, and scientific transformation.
