Repository and Archiving Policy

New Trends in Qualitative Research (NTQR) allows authors to deposit their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other academic platforms of their choice, without any embargo period.

Authors may archive the following versions of their manuscript:

  • Preprint: the version of the manuscript prior to peer review;
  • Accepted Manuscript: the final version accepted for publication, after peer review and before editorial layout and formatting;
  • Published Version (Version of Record): the final version published by the journal.

Authors are encouraged to always include the full bibliographic reference of the article and the DOI of the published version in NTQR, whenever available.

The deposit of the published version must comply with the terms of the licence applicable to the article.

NTQR also ensures the long-term digital preservation of its contents through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

This policy reflects NTQR’s commitment to open access, the dissemination of scientific knowledge, and the long-term preservation of published scholarly output.
