Resumo

Nos últimos anos, temos assistido à deterioração da natureza devido às atividades humanas, alavancada pelos incentivos do modelo socioeconómico capitalista. Torna-se premente repensar este modelo, de forma a adequar ou permutar por um modelo compatível com a transformação necessária para atingir o equilíbrio. Esta investigação visa compreender se o design Restaurativo pode ser tendência para o desenvolvimento de modelos socioeconómicos, alternativos e sustentáveis, na literatura existente. Realizou-se uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, uma abordagem de natureza qualitativa, com a técnica de análise de conteúdos, para compreensão de 64 artigos selecionados. Apesar do design Verde, que promove a otimização da utilização de recursos naturais e utilização de energias renováveis, constituir uma abordagem aparentemente dominante, os modelos de design Restaurativo, que propõem restabelecer a plenitude do meio ambiente, apresentam indícios de tendência de desenvolvimento dominante. Neste design verificaram-se debates acerca do Decrescimento da Economia e outras alternativas ao Capitalismo. Já nos designs Verdes, os debates relacionam-se com Economia Circular e Economia Verde. A literatura Verde foca-se na transição, e sustentabilidade e compatibilidade com o Capitalismo, na Economia Circular. A literatura Restaurativa discute a exequibilidade do Decrescimento e apresenta visões alternativas. O conteúdo prático e o papel do estado constituem boas oportunidades de pesquisa futura. Este estudo contribui para a compreensão da literatura existente e motivar pesquisas futuras relacionadas com o desenvolvimento de modelos socioeconómicos alternativos sustentáveis. Espera-se que esta investigação possa inspirar novas combinações de correntes de pensamento e desenvolvimento de novos modelos socioeconómicos.
