Resumo

Introdução A lesão renal aguda é considerada uma complicação de uma doença de base. Tem uma incidência de cerca 60% nos doentes internados numa unidade de cuidados intensivos e a taxa de mortalidade varia entre 10-80%. O enfermeiro é um elemento crucial na prevenção, na coordenação e na organização de cuidados ao doente renal. O doente com lesão renal aguda necessita de inúmeras intervenções e de uma equipa de enfermagem especializada; Objetivo Mapear as intervenções de enfermagem à pessoa com lesão renal aguda em unidade de cuidados intensivos; Métodos Metodologia de scoping review de acordo com Joanna Briggs Institute. Dois revisores independentes realizaram o processo de análise da relevância, extração e síntese dos dados; Resultados Dezoito estudos foram incluídos na revisão. Da análise das intervenções de enfermagem, emergiram três grupos: prevenção, diagnóstico e tratamento à pessoa com lesão renal aguda; Conclusões A prevenção é a melhor estratégia de intervenção de enfermagem para gerir a lesão renal aguda. Relativamente ao tratamento da lesão renal aguda, o enfermeiro tem um papel relevante no desenvolvimento e implementação de estratégias que limitem a progressão da lesão renal aguda na pessoa em unidade de cuidados intensivos.
