Resumen

Introducción: Este estudio explora la implementación de Sistemas de Monitoreo IoT para mejorar la seguridad laboral en Costa Rica. Se enfoca en cómo estas tecnologías pueden prevenir riesgos laborales y promover un entorno de trabajo seguro. Pregunta de Investigación/Objetivos: Evaluar los desafíos en la seguridad laboral en Costa Rica y cómo la implementación de sistemas IoT puede ofrecer soluciones efectivas. Se pretende comprender el impacto de estas tecnologías en la prevención de accidentes y la promoción de prácticas laborales seguras. Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, integrando teorías y prácticas en el análisis de sistemas de monitoreo IoT. Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas y estudios de caso, complementados con un análisis en tiempo real para evaluar la eficacia de los sistemas IoT en la seguridad laboral. Esta metodología permite una comprensión detallada de la interacción entre la tecnología y las medidas de seguridad. Resultados: La investigación revela que la adopción de sistemas de monitoreo IoT mejora significativamente la seguridad laboral en Costa Rica, reduciendo los riesgos y costos asociados a los accidentes laborales. Estos hallazgos están respaldados por la metodología aplicada y los estudios de caso analizados. Consideraciones Finales: La metodología cualitativa utilizada destaca la importancia de vincular teorías y prácticas para abordar la seguridad laboral mediante tecnología IoT. Los resultados demuestran que una estrategia integrada, que combine tecnología avanzada con prácticas de seguridad existentes, puede mejorar sustancialmente las condiciones de trabajo. Este estudio subraya la necesidad de un enfoque metodológico coherente para promover la integración efectiva de soluciones tecnológicas en la seguridad laboral, contribuyendo así a un futuro laboral más seguro y tecnológicamente avanzado en Costa Rica.
