As narrativas visuais na educação: Uma revisão sistemática de literatura

Abstract

This study makes a systematic literature review on visual narratives in the educational context. The search focused on articles published in scientific journals, in the English language, between 1999 and 2020, available in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The objective of the study was to understand how the scientific community has been working on this theme, regarding the potential of using these resources in education. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 19 articles were selected from both databases. All articles should focus on the study of visual narratives to promote learning. The results show that visual narratives have the potential to explain complex concepts and keep students interested in the learning process. In addition, the importance of fully understanding the context of the application of these resources is emphasized in order to be successful in planning actions related to didactics and the verification of their educational impact.
